Maryland crab cakes and Oklahoma’s signature drink, the Roy Rogers.

The Maryland-based Food and Drug Administration has pledged to reduce U.S. food waste by 50% by 2030, and Oklahoma has been lauded not only as the “cherry on top” state but also as the U.S. state with the least amount of food waste across the entire country. This makes the pairing of Maryland crab cakes and the Oklahoma state drink, the non-alcoholic Roy Rogers, a combination that’s as sustainable as it is delicious.
